Urban Decay Naked 3: Review

It’s finally mine! After weeks of rumors, the Urban Decay Cosmetics Naked 3 Palette was released at the end of November. Even though I ordered it the day it became available at UrbanDecay.com, it was a Christmas gift that I wasn’t able to open. Could you imagine, knowing it was in my house, but I couldn’t touch it? Needless to say, it was a long month. Watching everyone on Instagram rave about it made it even more difficult to hold out. Let’s just say it was worth the wait!

I’ve always leaned towards rose colored shadows, so when I found out the palette was entirely made up of pink and brown shadows, I was sold. The prior Naked Palettes were focused more on pure neutral shades, whereas this palette branched off into a bit of color, which I appreciated. How many cream colored eyeshadows does a girl need? (Not that I should be talking since I probably own at least 20+) As always the pigmentation, consistency, and longevity of the shadows was impeccable. I have to say, Urban Decay never skimps on quality when it comes to their palettes. I’ve noticed that a lot of other companies use lower quality shadows in their palettes, which is pretty disappointing.

Overall, I was very pleased with the palette and I am 100% certain that I will be getting a lot of use out of it. The colors are neutral enough to wear on a daily basis, yet a bit more exciting than the shadows in prior Naked palettes.
