Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Try-On Haul | Part 2

Since I received such great feedback from my first Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Try-On Haul, I thought I would share some more pieces I tried on and purchased on my second trip to the store. Yes, the sale is so overwhelming that it required multiple trips. As I said in my last haul, I hope this behind-the-scenes look gives you a bit more insight as far as sizing and fit.

Cell Phone Case | Pop Socket {Both under $10}

I already ordered this embroidered faux leather jacket online, but I couldn’t help trying it on in-store. You guys, it is even more beautiful in-person. It’s one of the items I knew I was purchasing before the sale even started. It’s made incredibly well, and the fit is quite flattering. I always use the Anniversary Sale as a chance to invest in staple pieces like outerwear and denim. It’s definitely one of my best purchases of the sale. I went for a Medium, which is true to size for me. I paired it with the Rounded V-Neck Tee.

Okay, so I am all about denim jackets. I loved them in the 90s and I still love them now. This distressed version is so fun and completely on-trend. It probably won’t keep me warm but I think it’s a really fun piece to have in my closet. I opted for a US 8, which is true to size.

My first haul was full of pink, and clearly some things don’t change. This side-lace sweatshirt is another piece I had my eye on. While it’s really adorable, I wouldn’t say it’s a must-have. I ended up sizing up because it was a bit boxy.

This Ruffle Sleeve Cardigan definitely caught my eye because of it’s uniqueness. The color is so pretty and the sleeves definitely make it a statement piece. I couldn’t get over how cozy it was. Since the sleeves are so bold, I kept the rest of the look casual with the v-neck Side Slit Tee and black High Waist Skinny Jeans.

I am a total activewear junkie. I knew this Adidas tank was coming home with me before I even tried it on. It’s a great top to workout in, or to wear just lounging around the house (which is probably what I’ll be doing). I tried them on with these leggings which were so comfortable and flattering. Both pieces run true to size.

I have been wanting to try the pajama top trend for the longest time, but I was so intimidated by it. When I saw this top in the Nordstrom Sale, I knew it was a sign to give the trend a try. You guys, I love it. It’s chic, yet comfortable, and the material of this particular top is ultra luxe. I sized up for a looser fit.

I love fun detailing, which is why I couldn’t resist this Poplin Blouse. The sleeves are so unique, and it’s just a great staple top to have in your wardrobe. I opted for a Medium which is true to size.

Last but not least is the Lattice Back Sweater. I soo wish I was able to get a good picture of the back because that is definitely the selling point. The back features a lace-up detail that is so pretty and feminine. Overall it’s a great cozy sweater and staple for fall. I purchased my usual size.

I tried on a majority of the pieces with the High Waist Ankle Skinny Jeans. They’re so comfortable and flattering, and for under $40, a complete steal. I purchased them in my usual size.
