Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Try-On Haul

Nordstrom Anniversary Sale Try-On Haul

The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale includes tons of amazing pieces and deals, but it can be quite overwhelming to say the least. I thought it would be helpful to take you behind the scenes and share some of my dressing room diaries. Our bodies are all different shapes and sizes, but I was hoping my insight could help you make decisions about certain pieces, especially if you’re shopping online. Now, onto the pieces I tried on (and purchased) from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.

Cell Phone Case | Pop Socket {Both under $10}

Okay, I have to start with my favorite piece. This Grommet Sleeve Pullover was an instant “yes”. The details on the sleeve are absolutely gorgeous, and it’s the perfect shade of pink. It looks a little more on the cropped side in these photos, but I realized afterwards that you can actually wear it off the shoulder which will add length. It also comes in grey and black.

Next up we have this Circle Cardigan. What a great staple! It’s so cozy and I can see myself living in it come fall. On the right I paired it with the Side Slit Tee. At $15.90, the t-shirt is an absolute steal. It’s my favorite t-shirt brand and it washes so well. I also purchased it in the shade Hushed Violet. On the left I paired the cardigan with a Lace Trim Satin Camisole.

The Lace Trim Satin Camisole is absolutely stunning and the quality was amazing. I wasn’t able to purchase it because they didn’t have the next size up. I like the look of a looser camisole, so if you’re like me I recommend sizing up. I’m going to try and order it later on or check back in stores.

The next item I tried on was the Wrap Front Sweater. Okay, so I REALLY loved this sweater but I wasn’t in love with the fit. I’m a pretty true Medium and I felt this was a bit too snug. I think I may go back and try on the Large for a baggier fit. It was so soft and luxe.

It seems like a reoccurring trend throughout the sale pieces was over-the-top sleeves, and I was loving it. This Ruffle Bell Cuff Sweater was extremely flattering and true to size.

I am such a sucker for waffle print that I kind of knew I was buying this thermal top no matter how it fit. Luckily it was super cozy and fit great. I picked up the shade Soft Rock, but it’s also available in Black, Grey, and Oatmeal.

More amazing sleeves! My motto this Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: “the more ruffles, the better”. This Bell Sleeve Knit Top fit great, and is also available in black and pink.

Lastly we have this cold shoulder top! I loved the color and the bow detailing is so darling!

I tried a majority of these tops on with the SP Black Angled Step Hem High Waist Skinny Jeans. They were super flattering and at under $40, a total score.
