After reading Jenn’s post on NYX’s butter glosses, I knew I had to get my hands on NYX lip products. I wasn’t able to pick up the butter glosses yet, but I did get the “soft matte lip cream”. The lip creams are described as “not a lipstick, nor is it a gloss. It’s like nothing you’ve experienced before. After deep consideration, I went ahead and purchased two NYC 16-Hour Smooch Proof lip stains. I was extremely hesitant to buy them, despite hearing only great things. I’ve tried other products from NYC and had pretty poor experiences.  From left to right: 493 Champagne Stain & 490 Persistent Pink To my pleasant surprise, I love the lip stains! Judging by the photos below, you can see I sort of stick to the same colors when it comes to lip glosses. Wearing any sort of lip color is new to me, so I play it pretty safe more or less. I don’t have a specific go-to brand or type, I just try and buy and find what works best for me!
